Here’s the full interview that Kanye spazzed over. So now that I’m watching this, while I still think Kanye might have overreacted, I can somewhat understand why he was mad. Lauer was all “look at his face” (Bush’s) and what not. What is that? I guess you could say that he was just trying to get a more emotional response from an interview subject, but that was weird. At the end of the clip, Lauer directly addresses the Twitter tirade and plays the portion of the interview that Yeezy was really pissed about. #Awkwardmoments.

To pick up where my good friend Thomas (DJ Diagnosis) left off, I put together what we call, "The Core Curriculum...Something like a Mystique". The music I chose for this mix is the type to get you ready for the Thursday and Friday nights of the Spel|House Homecoming festivities...it will get you where you need to be when you're driving to the yard for tailgate on Sat....it will make you wonder "why can't homecoming be at least 3 times a year. This is the last installment of my "Good Morning Weekday" project. I kinda went all over the place with this one,...primarily because that's how I typically DJ and partially because my main goal in this project was to keep the mixes authentic...blunders and all.
Nevertheless, I appreciate everyone who has been rocking with me all week long--sharing and listening and supporting! Thank you for the time!
I'm happy that the mix ended the way it did (uber uptempo) because in a sense it emulates waking up in the morning and puts the final touch on this project.

I started a project in January 2010 to do a mixtape each month this year, just to see if I could knock it out and how people would respond. Thus far I've gotten great responses, reviews and commentary from fans and my team at The HILLMAN Administration....this time around I decided to take it to another level & get even more interesting simply because I took a brief hiatus in July and August and I felt like I owed the people more thus the subtitle, "Return of Thee DJ"...a damn near 2-hour mix of new, recent release, and soon to be popular hip-hop and r&b. Just last year I sold my first set of turntables and mixer to my good friend and brother Thomas. Since then he has graduated medical school and is now called Dr. Oden, doing his residency in N.O.. The peculiar thing is that at some point during the rigorous demands of med. school he found time to practice DJing (per a couple of my helpful tips and lessons...[pat on my own back]...vain, so what, I did) and 12 months later, maybe even sooner, he was able have a nightclub/lounge jumping. He was always a musician so I knew it wouldn't take long for him to grasp the art form, but his music selections in his blends comes just as natural as the "morning wood". He's like one of those people in college and high school that never really had to study and still got "A's" on the test...unfortunately I didn't have this superpower. Nevertheless, so I did what any other proud enabler would do...share it with the world! Enjoy and be sure to follow my blogspot (hit the "follow" button).
